How Kirsion Medical (Pty) Ltd collects and uses personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act.
Kirsion Medical (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Only what you send us. If you complete the enquiry form, that is your name, practice or hospital, email address, telephone number, the topic you selected and the message you wrote. If you email us directly, it is whatever your message contains.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for marketing unrelated to what you asked about.
Our own staff, and service providers who host our email and website under contract. Where a device incident must be reported, the relevant details are shared with the manufacturer and with the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority, as the law requires.
Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records that regulation requires us to retain — traceability and vigilance records in particular — are kept for the period prescribed for those records.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You may also object to processing or complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. Write to info@kirsionmedical.com and we will respond.
This website is intended for healthcare professionals. Please do not send patient identifiable information through the enquiry form or by unencrypted email. If clinical detail is needed to answer a question, contact us and we will agree a secure route.
We will update this notice when our practices change. The version on this page is the current one.
